„Traumschiff – Kambodscha“ in Siem Reap

The „Dreamboat“, one of Germany’s most watched tv series, landed in Siem Reap for eight days of filming in late March 2011. The 35-man crew and cast, led by director Hans-Jürgen Tögel, shot several scenes for the 90-minute-film „Dreamboat – Cambodia“, that will be broadcast on German television on 26th December 2011. „Angkor was on my waiting list for a long time, since the temples are breathtaking and unique in the world“, said producer Wolfgang Rademann to Lolei Travel’s General Manager Michael Scholten, who was on location at Angkor, met the crew and stars several times and arranged trips to Tonle Sap, Phnom Kulen and Beng Mealea fort hem and gave dining and entertainment advise. After filming aboard the cruise ship „Deutschland“ in February and early March, the crew moved to Phnom Penh’s Royal Palace and finally to Angkor Wat, Bayon and Ta Prohm. Among the actors were Heide Keller, Nina Bott, Ursula Buschhorn, Peter Sattmann, Jochen Horst, Steffen Groth and Simone Böer.
