Boat Description
Explore the Mekong and Tonle Sap’s water world with your private ship! The Saponnika and Captain Roberto Knüsel give you the opportunity to create your own itinerary off the “beaten tracks”. Share this experience with up to 3 friends! The Saponnika was built in 2007 and is based in Phnom Penh. The ship comes with 3 cabins, one kitchen with dining table, one shower / toilet for guests and one for staff and a small sun deck. You will be taken care of by the Captain Roberto Knüsel and his two staff. Stop at small islands, go for bicycle rides (2 bikes available on the boat), stop at local markets and go shopping for your lunch / dinner (full board is included). There is also a small boat on board for adventure trips. Stop where you like and how long you like. Captain Knüsel knows the Cambodian waters and will be more then happy to arrange the perfect trip for you!
About the Captain & the crew

Your Captain Mr. Roberto Knüsel is a Swiss citizen and 55 years old. He built the Sopannika in 2007 and spends 4 months a year on his boat. He used to be a relief worker in different countries around the globe for several years. He loves the Mekong River, to travel, to cook and to camp.·Feed back of one of his guests: The Captain admires Cambodian people and their culture and he likes to introduce his passengers to the local handicrafts and to the beauty of this country. Together with his crew he offers much more than an accommodation on a ship, if you like, he will be your guide and facilitator.·Captain·Knüsels personal tip: explore the Mekong River until Kratie and meet the Irrawaddy Dolphins! En route you will pass beautiful landscapes and river side forests. This trip can not be done by a big cruise ship.
Cabin Description
The cabins come with one double bed, one closet, mosquito net, a fan and 220vlt outlet. The ship has one shared shower / toilet for all guests.
Full board is included. the staff knows how to prepare Khmer and Western dishes.

Notes
The charter is available from October to January.
Children are welcome but must wear a life jacket at all time.
Minimum charter of 3 days / 2 nights is required.
It is not possible to cross the border into Vietnam.
